British Cassis

Sweet at first taste, with an irresistibly sharp after-kick, our original British Cassis is the perfect complement to sparkling wine, delicious 'nude' over ice and decadent in cocktails. It is also a perfect complement in Prosecco and Champagne – add British Cassis to make a ‘British Royale. Made from our home-grown blackcurrants and in a completely artisan and unique way -unlike the French method of Cassis production we add champagne yeast and a British sugar which causes fermentation and the alcohol is naturally produced, we harvest a specific quantity which is pressed within 24 hours which gives our cassis a truly intense blackcurrant flavour.
